SUMMARY: Perhaps it's an April Fool's joke-- surely Saint Patrick's Day has already passed. And yet clovers rain down and the fountains run green regardless. But it's a nice welcome to The World regardless, so enjoy it while it lasts!


There's gold banners strung from rooftop to rooftop, catching the light of the eternally-setting sun and reflecting it every which way. The ground's already covered in a generous amount of fallen shamrocks, with no end in sight. They're in your hair, on your clothes, in your food-- everywhere!

The main fountain (as well as the smaller second fountain in the alchemy district) is running with fizzing green soda, glass mugs lined up along the edges invitingly. New characters will receive one of two items-- in the first half of the week, they'll be awarded a limited edition golden weapon to suit their class, adorned in emeralds. In the latter half (for later applicants), they'll receive a leprechaun hat. The size is entirely up to the player, so it can range from a cute, small hat a la lolita style, or a big floppy hat, or a dapper silk top hat.

Have a look around, meet others, and enjoy the Irish foods offered for free at NPC shops to go with the soda. All items earned are to stay!



There's even a young silver-haired GM dolled up in green silks at the quest kiosk available for questions, although he doesn't look particularly friendly. His body language says to Stay Away, despite his location right in the upper left corner of the town center.

...the soda is really good and it eases her thirst. The food too, foreign as they are, is delicious. ] Mmm, this taste is heavenly...

[ There is a boy here, but he looks too distraught to eat. Actually, he's just really confused and obviously not taking it with grace. There's an NPC that keeps trying to offer him a soda. ]

I said that I wasn't interested! Just leave me be...!

[ Into Minako, of course! Who has stepped up beside Leon to get her seconds as well as tell the NPC to stop bothering Leon-- ] Ah--!

[ Unfortunately, she can't maintain her balance and falls on-- ]

[ --said very distraught boy who, being not quite as composed as usual, topples into the table and onto the floor-- spilling food everywhere and on all three of them. ]

Just what-- are you doing?! [ This can't be happening. ]

[ at least she's on the top of the pile. Oops, sorry Leon. ] Did I fall asleep?

[ She's definitely sticky. And lying on a boy whose face is very close...

Flushing, Minako quickly attempts to sit up. ] I'm sorry--! [ And she hits her head against the side of the table. ] Oww...

[antiside]

Just get off...! [ He is going to squeeze his way out of the pile now. ]

Eh? Eh? Who's talking? [ looking up~! Oh and then finally down. ]

Oh no, I fell on someone! D-did I unbalance you? Are you dizzy? K-killey? Georg?

[ Neku is also curiously looking at the food. He could only stave his hunger for so long..

Awkwardly, though, he'll be accidentally dropping his fork. Ah, he can't deal without that.

Of course it had to land right near Minako's foot... ]

[ Thankfully, Minako isn't so engrossed that she doesn't notice. She bends down to pick it up, then glances at who she thinks dropped it. ] It's dirty. You should get another one.

[hedgephones]

[ Neku glances up, and he blinks a few times. Right. Had he really been considering using it again? ]

That makes more sense. [ A murmur and he stands back up completely. ] ....Do you know where the extras are? Some random guy handed me the plate and fork when I first showed up.

[inhearts]

Hmm... Maybe in the first stall? [ She starts walking towards it, then stops, turning back. ] C'mon, let's go take a look!

[hedgephones]

[ Neku's caught off guard, eyes widening slightly in surprise. Well, uh, ok.

He nods and quickly follows after her, awkwardly still yanking shamrocks from out of his hair. ]

You'd think they'd be with the plates....

[inhearts]

They could have ran out of it. There are a lot of people here, after all!

[ Leading, leading! ]

[hedgephones]

[ Following~! ]

That's true... [ Hm. ] I didn't think that many people were actually here...

I've spoken only to a few! Some of them don't seem to want to talk much.

[ Well, we're probably pretty close to the first stall. See any forks yet? ]

[Eventually, she encounters a wild cleric!]

Ah, I agree. I've never had anything like this.

[ She nods. ] Irish -- I think it's Irish -- food is hard to come by in Japan. Where I lived at, anyway!

[Irish? Hm, would the others like this kind of food? Maybe when she gets back, she'll start looking.]

I haven't heard of Japan; where is it, and where is Ire? I know some people I think would like this.

[inhearts]

You don't know? Well, Japan is a small country -- on Earth. The Irish -- Ireland is, um... [ She has to think; geography wasn't really her best point. ] A small island in Europe. [ ...Probably. Curiously, she glances over. ]

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from, ah-- Right, I forgot! My name is Arisato Minako. You are?
