SUMMARY: Perhaps it's an April Fool's joke-- surely Saint Patrick's Day has already passed. And yet clovers rain down and the fountains run green regardless. But it's a nice welcome to The World regardless, so enjoy it while it lasts!

There's gold banners strung from rooftop to rooftop, catching the light of the eternally-setting sun and reflecting it every which way. The ground's already covered in a generous amount of fallen shamrocks, with no end in sight. They're in your hair, on your clothes, in your food-- everywhere!

The main fountain (as well as the smaller second fountain in the alchemy district) is running with fizzing green soda, glass mugs lined up along the edges invitingly. New characters will receive one of two items-- in the first half of the week, they'll be awarded a limited edition golden weapon to suit their class, adorned in emeralds. In the latter half (for later applicants), they'll receive a leprechaun hat. The size is entirely up to the player, so it can range from a cute, small hat a la lolita style, or a big floppy hat, or a dapper silk top hat.

Have a look around, meet others, and enjoy the Irish foods offered for free at NPC shops to go with the soda. All items earned are to stay!

There's even a young silver-haired GM dolled up in green silks at the quest kiosk available for questions, although he doesn't look particularly friendly. His body language says to Stay Away, despite his location right in the upper left corner of the town center.

She shakes her head. ] Then I haven't seen it. My naginata disappeared too. Instead, I had this. [ Holding out the fans she had tucked at her sides, opening them with a snap of her wrist. ]

So...does that mean this is my wand now? I didn't know it could transform.

Until someone else says otherwise, you should keep it. You need one, right?

Oh...I guess that's true. It'd be hard to sleep without one.

[ she holds out the wand to examine properly. ]

I hope it's long enough.

I always stand when I sleep! [ she holds it close and leans a bit of her weight on it. ] W-wa... oh, this is okay.

O-okay? But I need to look after the mirror... oh wait, there isn't a mirror here.

[ Thinks ... it's a small mirror. ]

You could put it by your bedside!

Oh, that could work! [ she there'd just be a bed in the hall next to her mirror :| ]

[ Nods, approvingly! Though. ] We should try to find a way out of here... I wonder if those ships over there go anywhere.

Maybe we can get to the Island Nations!

O-okay! [ she follows with a half stumble, as if she's more used to teleporting than walking. ]

[ Let Viki set the pace as they walk. ] Have you taken a ride on a ship before?

I have! I was on a ship for a very long time once! [ she is unsure how long though, it's hard to keep track when you stay the same no matter how much time pasts. ]

They even let me use the Rune Canons! [ god only knows who decided that was safe. ]

Wow, cannons? Magical cannons?

[ People: ...are you sure you want Viki to man it?
LAZLO: '___' /nods, still assigning people, what's wrong?
People: (...sobbing) ]

[ ...that was probably about how it went down. Though she did do fairly well. Maybe someone else aimed them. ]

[ The other Stars, probably! Admiration: ] I don't think I can work one out at all, Viki-chan. Was it a very big ship?

It was! [ she spins happily. ]

It was bigger than this whole harbor I think. It was like a castle on water!

Oh, that sounds beautiful! I wished I could have seen it.

[ Well, they're here at the ship. Minako approaches one of the NPCs. ] Excuse me! I'm sorry to bother you! Does this ship go anywhere? [ The NPC replies along the lines of 'not at the moment'. ] I see... When will it leave port? [ 'Not anytime soon'. ]
