SUMMARY: Perhaps it's an April Fool's joke-- surely Saint Patrick's Day has already passed. And yet clovers rain down and the fountains run green regardless. But it's a nice welcome to The World regardless, so enjoy it while it lasts!


There's gold banners strung from rooftop to rooftop, catching the light of the eternally-setting sun and reflecting it every which way. The ground's already covered in a generous amount of fallen shamrocks, with no end in sight. They're in your hair, on your clothes, in your food-- everywhere!

The main fountain (as well as the smaller second fountain in the alchemy district) is running with fizzing green soda, glass mugs lined up along the edges invitingly. New characters will receive one of two items-- in the first half of the week, they'll be awarded a limited edition golden weapon to suit their class, adorned in emeralds. In the latter half (for later applicants), they'll receive a leprechaun hat. The size is entirely up to the player, so it can range from a cute, small hat a la lolita style, or a big floppy hat, or a dapper silk top hat.

Have a look around, meet others, and enjoy the Irish foods offered for free at NPC shops to go with the soda. All items earned are to stay!



There's even a young silver-haired GM dolled up in green silks at the quest kiosk available for questions, although he doesn't look particularly friendly. His body language says to Stay Away, despite his location right in the upper left corner of the town center.

[ Looks around...! ] I wonder where we are. This doesn't feel like an enemy trap at all.

Huh? Not the Prince... um Prince... [ there's a sad edge to her smile, or maybe just wistful. ]

He's already fulfilled his role.

B-but usually there's someone else that comes along right after. Maybe I teleported to the wrong time this time. [ she looks at Minako with some concern. ]

Are you fighting someone right now? M-maybe I'm waiting for a girl this time?

[ Considers Leon's question! ] Wheel of Fortune...? [ But it's not the Dark Hour though...

Viki's words make her hesitate. Should she...? ] ...Yeah. Not now, I mean, but I'm -- was fighting alongside my friends before I came to be here. I don't see them around though!

Are you fighting too?

[ A bit distracted by all this. ] Wait. The prince of which kingdom?

[uwawa]

The Queendom of Falena! [ she says excitedly and with great fondness. for the Prince, she knows very little about the country. ]

Um...we just finished fighting actually! I was at the party and then... and then... [ SO DEJECTED. ]

I sneezed...

[inhearts]

A queendom? [ Questioning because she's never heard of it. ] You sneezed? And?

[uwawa]

Um...yes? Oh! They have a queen, that's the Prince's um little sister. Uwa...I hope they're having fun together now.

O-oh, when I sneeze I teleport. I always miss the celebration... [ dejected sigh :( ]

[antiside]

I've never heard of a Falena. Are you making this up?

[uwawa]

Eh?! Of course not! I mean, I did think that it probably wasn't around anymore but...

I wouldn't make that up! Who would lie about wars? If it's over it means that everyone can... they can be together again.

[inhearts]

Well, Falena sounds like a European name. I've never heard of it before either, or of a existing queendom...

Wars? [ ...Is this what Viki means by fighting? ]

What war are you referring to? [ The three of them are clearly not on the same page. ]

[uwawa]

Um...um... [ you guys are making her recall a lot of information. ]

It was um, the Sun Rune War and before that was...was.... [ chronology, what is that? ]

Gate Rune -- wait, no there was um... um... Rune of Punishment and Souleater and... [ she sounds like she's about to cry from confusion. ]

[ ...definitely not anything she knows. Encouragingly, ] It's okay. Don't force yourself, Viki-chan. [ Stepping closer to Viki and offering a small, gentle pat to her head before turning to Leon. ] Does the name 'Japan' mean anything to you, Leon-san?

[antiside]

[ He makes a mental note that questioning Viki is a pretty fruitless endeavor. ] Nothing. Should it?

[inhearts]

[ It totally does! But. ] That's the name of the country I'm from. What about you?

The Kingdom of Seinegald.

[uwawa]

Um! Excuse me! Um...do either of you use runes? They can't have made so many new countries without me knowing, could they?

[inhearts]

Runes? What kind of runes?

[uwawa]

W-wa... [ she fiddles with her sleeves and pulls them up a bit to show the back of her hands. ] Like these?

H-have you heard of True Runes? Oh no, where did I go this time? W-what if I can't go home...

...um, maybe that'd be kind of the same though as before.

[antiside]

[ Interested, Leon leans over a bit to have a look. ]

[uwawa]

H-huh? Oh no, I'm really bad at explaining things. I shouldn't have said anything, waaa...

Um it...does... um.

I'll show you. Oh no, I'm nervous... [ people are watching her ;;; ] Um...ready...set...

[ oh wait, she probably shouldn't aim at them. she turns so that her back is facing them and... aims at a random barrel. And random junk falls and falls from the sky until it's in tatters. ]

L-like that. The Cyclone Rune has different spells and um... there are runes that aren't for magic.... [ HOW DO I EXPLAIN THINGS? ]

Um...

Whoa! [ She stares at the remains of the barrels a bit. And... at the junk. ] Wow! So that was a rune?

[ ...well. ] I can use spells too but my spells don't come from runes.
