SUMMARY: It's the first Quest in The World, just in time for Easter! There's a message awaiting everyone on their Relics when they wake up, so hop to it!

[ You'll see this becoming a theme, Kain unfortunately decked out for the holiday in question while being rather sour about it. He's at his usual spot behind the Quest Kiosk, in his usual blue garb. The only difference is the silver bunny ears perching on his head, one straight with a bent tip and the other rather floppy.

The fluffy tail sticking out the back of the chair was not helping matters any. There's a basket filled with pastel paper easter grass and filled to burst with silver and bronze eggs, intricately designed with pipes, rivets and gears.

The Relics around town chirped, steamed, and vibrated, with the message already on-screen.

HAPPY EASTER （＊´∀｀＊ｂ）━━！！！！ There's eight eggs to be found in every area and dungeon today, so grab a basket by the Chaos Gate and find them all! One has a surprise for you, so bring the other seven to the Quest Kiosk for your final prize!

There's a sign beside the stacks of empty easter baskets detailing the objective a little further, stating that eggs in dungeons will be found no lower than the second floor, and that there's a prize for participating as well.

In the meantime, Kain is kicked back and playing a game on his Relic. ]



( ooc | Please don't forget to tag your characters into the log when you've replied! Here's the low-down on prizes: one of the eggs, when picked up, will spontaneously combust and your character will have a Rabbit Hood item automatically equipped. You can't remove it for the rest of the week, and it will give the character unique bunny ears like Kain, in the character's hair color (but sometimes accidents happen and it may not match!).

Anyone who participates but doesn't collect all the eggs in one area will be auto-equipped with an equally-irremovable Rabbit Tail charm ONLY ONCE! There will be no item duplicates, and all of the eggs they gathered will disappear at the end of the Quest if not turned in for the prize. The Rabbit Tail charm will give them a perfectly round fluff tail to match their ears.

Finally, if you collect all seven (eight with the bunny ears), you'll win a basket filled with fresh hot food, some extra rations, and a number of healing items. More free grub on the house! )

Collecting eggs doesn't seem like a super special event, is all.

Yes, well. With higher levels come greater rewards... perhaps.

We're at level one, though. [ Huff.

but wow Iceland how do you think you level up... ]

[ yeah Iceland. Gosh. ]

Think of it as training. - Oh, I see one!

[ There is indeed a pair of eggs for them tucked away in the corner of the room they've just entered. There's also a chest, but she ignores that for now. ]

[volcanic]

Great. [ That's the most sincere enthusiasm he can muster. ] If you get that, I can open the chest.

/flips a coin to see if it's the bunnyears one

[ well he's making an effort. She sashays on over to the egg pair.

All is peaceful UNTIL ONE OF THE EGGS EXPLODES. ]

[volcanic]

[ OH WHOOPS ]

Hey, are you okay? [ Scrambling over there!! ]

What ha-- [ and he gets over there and then THE OTHER EGG EXPLODES.

What? [ He doesn't understand this exploding nonsense or why Hitei has bunny ears (since he doesn't know about his own yet), but...!

Iceland's actually sorta staring at dem ears. ]

...How'd you do that?

I deny doing anything. [ and she's telling the truth for once.

And then she's staring at hisears.... three... two... one... ]

Pft... ahahaha! What are those on your head?

[volcanic]

Huh? There's nothing on-- [ But he reaches up and and there most certainly is something here. ]

Th-this isn't funny, what's going on? [ Giving one of his bunny ears a tug. ]

[deniability]

[ what are you talking about, Iceland. This is hilarious. She reaches over to tug his other ear, and when it flicks away she just starts laughing again. ] Rabbits? Such cute ears... Can we really call this a 'curse'?

[volcanic]

This is so stupid. [ Iceland's quick to cover his face to cover the blush that's quickly spreading. Although, after a moment, he peeks through his fingers at his party member. ]

You have them too, you know.

[deniability]

Pfftch-- really? [ she reaches over her head, swatting until her fingers connect with fur. Blonde ears with pink tips twitch under her hand, and she tugs one down to look at it. ]

Hm~ I could get used to these. They really are cute.

[volcanic]

[ How anyone can take this in stride, Iceland doesn't know. ]

They're stupid. What's the point of them, anyway?

[deniability]

It's a joke, of course! [ she lets go of her ear and it springs back upright, much to her apparent delight. ] Ah, these must be a rare item, don't you think?

[volcanic]

Maybe. But who'd want them though? I mean, if they don't do anything... [ Aside from look silly!! ]

[deniability]

Because they're li-mi-ted edition. [ she punctuates this with waves of her fan. ] These eggs are special, so it stands to reason that only people who collect them will get the items, hmm? They'll be in demand later, when everyone realises how cute they are.

[ and she's nothing if not good at collecting rare things people will need later. B) ] Speaking of eggs... Let's take the left door!

[volcanic]

I definitely don't want it if it's cute. [ Weh his life is hard, but wow okay, he doesn't have a better idea of where to go, so he starts trudging in the direction of the aforementioned door. ]

[deniability]

Then I'll take yours too. That is, if we can remove them...

[ ho hum with that bit of horror news she dances off after him towards the door. ]
