SUMMARY: To some it's May Day, to others it's the European tradition of Walpurgisnacht-- in The World, we have both for you! There's no dungeons to raid or items to collect this go around, just stop by for free food, bonfires, and maybe some reward items just for your time.


[ A message beeps on everyone's devices the night of the 30th, nearing midnight. Any heavy sleepers or goody two-shoes may miss out on The World's first bonfire, but it probably won't be the last. The message is simple: an invitation to Δ Roaring Midnight's* Old World for good food and a midnight celebration for Walpurgisnacht.

And an alternative come 6AM for Δ Endless Sunshine's* May Queen*, if they'd prefer a daytime picnic and a dance around the maypole.

So what'll it be, Players? ]


( ooc: As these are special event areas, some of the words in these do not exist for player creation. "Midnight's", "Sunshine's", and "May Queen" are some of them! There'll be different event items to earn by attending either of these, and you don't need to pick one or the other. Apologies again for the delay, and for the number of event logs! There'll typically only be two a month or so. )

[ For all that it's worth, Ada appreciates that he tried to find out. And as for position, it's kind of hard for her to break the habit of nobles, sitting elegantly and gracefully.

The compliment sets her stomach aflutter though, and she's flustered now. ]

I, I'm not very good at dancing .. [ And she's not fast at it, either - but Oz's words makes her heart warm, and she smiles. ]

Will Onii-sama be participating in the dance as well?

[ And, see, his little sister is such a joy. Oz rarely holds with etiquette, can do so, easily, if he has to- but Ada might remember {Oz hopes that she remembers} that her brother is one for climbing trees and running through fields, that his own decisions show a desire for freedom instead.

Every look that he casts her way is warm but there are so many thoughts beneath, all these realisations. The sister he left behind used to sit on his lap, no more aware of the social norms than necessary, sheltered by a brother who felt too inadequate.

That memory, the sea of them, they make the breathe in his lungs burn, but. no really, he cannot stay in that past {not during the day at least, he cannot watch her properly like this} so he'll brighten the smile he gives Ada even more, this action so much easier when he sees the colour high on her cheeks. His sister is so cute! Just look at her. ]

I'm not going to believe that [ this is not teasing but faith and love and-- yeah, a massive sister complex of course]

It's not the kind of thing I'm normally interested in, but [ Hi, here's a wink just for you ]I think I'll make an exception today. I want to dance with my sister after all!

[ She's never forgotten Oz's free spirit - that's something she greatly admired about him in the first place - and his energy was something she also remembered, so his lack of etiquette doesn't surprise or disappoint her. It's just as she remembers, and that more than satisfies her, because it's not a memory, but the real thing sitting before her.

She just gives a soft laugh at the response -- of course, her brother would respond in such a way. Not that she doubts his words, no - but it'd be dreadful if she didn't live up to her brother's expectations. ]

Not in .. formal dances! I haven't practiced enough .. [ It's kind of a lie - she spent too much time with her Iron Maiden and in her basement, but she did practice dancing, and she attended every dance in her school. Still, there were people who put more effort than she did in learning, and she is in no way better than those who put more effort in. ]

.. Ah! We can? [ how -- exciting! The curves of her lips are twisted into a childish, excited smile -- one of anticipation. ]

I wish to dance with Onii-sama as well.. !
