SUMMARY: To some it's May Day, to others it's the European tradition of Walpurgisnacht-- in The World, we have both for you! There's no dungeons to raid or items to collect this go around, just stop by for free food, bonfires, and maybe some reward items just for your time.


[ A message beeps on everyone's devices the night of the 30th, nearing midnight. Any heavy sleepers or goody two-shoes may miss out on The World's first bonfire, but it probably won't be the last. The message is simple: an invitation to Δ Roaring Midnight's* Old World for good food and a midnight celebration for Walpurgisnacht.

And an alternative come 6AM for Δ Endless Sunshine's* May Queen*, if they'd prefer a daytime picnic and a dance around the maypole.

So what'll it be, Players? ]


( ooc: As these are special event areas, some of the words in these do not exist for player creation. "Midnight's", "Sunshine's", and "May Queen" are some of them! There'll be different event items to earn by attending either of these, and you don't need to pick one or the other. Apologies again for the delay, and for the number of event logs! There'll typically only be two a month or so. )

she wasn't from any sort of realm. well - not unless the Celestial Plain counted; there were some who called it the realm of the gods.] Whuff! [but she's from Nippon! Nippon!]

[he looks as confused as her for a moment, before he just pets the top of her head. Link still wasn't quite sure where this beast was from. Not being able to communicate makes that a bit harder to figure out. Well, she could have just asked for food... Even if she's still not getting his bowl.

This conversation would have been so much easier if he were a wolf!]

[it would be much nicer if he could understand her, Amaterasu is quite sure about that (ah, it was so troublesome communicating in this form sometimes). but she's grown quite used to the "language barrier" that resided between herself and others.]

[but, y'know, he's got this really weird scent to him. with the thought of lapping up that bowl of soup out of her mind, there was nothing to really detour her thoughts. so she's going to be giving him a couple sniffs. against his arm, shoulder, nose pressing a bit too close to his neck.]

[he seems to be more accustomed to animals than people, so doesn't do much other than lean away from her while he lays a hand gently on her head in order to stop her from pushing him over. Now now, there's no need to climb over him (though he's relieved to see that she's not after his soup anymore). Does she smell the wolf on him? He wouldn't be surprised; the animals around Ordon had been able to recognize him with scent alone]
