SUMMARY: To some it's May Day, to others it's the European tradition of Walpurgisnacht-- in The World, we have both for you! There's no dungeons to raid or items to collect this go around, just stop by for free food, bonfires, and maybe some reward items just for your time.


[ A message beeps on everyone's devices the night of the 30th, nearing midnight. Any heavy sleepers or goody two-shoes may miss out on The World's first bonfire, but it probably won't be the last. The message is simple: an invitation to Δ Roaring Midnight's* Old World for good food and a midnight celebration for Walpurgisnacht.

And an alternative come 6AM for Δ Endless Sunshine's* May Queen*, if they'd prefer a daytime picnic and a dance around the maypole.

So what'll it be, Players? ]


( ooc: As these are special event areas, some of the words in these do not exist for player creation. "Midnight's", "Sunshine's", and "May Queen" are some of them! There'll be different event items to earn by attending either of these, and you don't need to pick one or the other. Apologies again for the delay, and for the number of event logs! There'll typically only be two a month or so. )

[ He's quiet for a moment, but the answer he eventually comes up is not particularly elaborate. ]

Maybe. To what message are you referring?

Well, um, the one on the Relic. Did I miss out on something, or are they always announcing all this stuff on such early notice?

I haven't seen these many times, but I have received these announcements fairly promptly, when they do arise.

... Ah. I guess most people are sleeping by now.

[ Actually... ] What kind of celebration is it, anyway?

I don't know, just yet. I've been interested in learning, though.

Must be hard to gather information when everyone is busy making themselves look like total idiots.

[N seems interested, for certain. He's never been an art person, himself, always preferring mathematics... but he's definitely interested in hearing what an "artist" has to say about this.]

Maybe I'm the one missing the point, but they kinda look like they're the ones set on fire. Either lack of skills, or... different customs, I guess.

Well, uh, that's different. Much different. [ ... wait, does he really have to explain that? probably. ] You know, just mentioning something doesn't make you an expert at it.
