event one | Happy St. Patrick's D-- wait what?
CHARACTERS: Any and all!
DATE: April 1st~7th
RATING: PG at the worst, I suppose!
SUMMARY: Perhaps it's an April Fool's joke-- surely Saint Patrick's Day has already passed. And yet clovers rain down and the fountains run green regardless. But it's a nice welcome to The World regardless, so enjoy it while it lasts!
There's gold banners strung from rooftop to rooftop, catching the light of the eternally-setting sun and reflecting it every which way. The ground's already covered in a generous amount of fallen shamrocks, with no end in sight. They're in your hair, on your clothes, in your food-- everywhere!
The main fountain (as well as the smaller second fountain in the alchemy district) is running with fizzing green soda, glass mugs lined up along the edges invitingly. New characters will receive one of two items-- in the first half of the week, they'll be awarded a limited edition golden weapon to suit their class, adorned in emeralds. In the latter half (for later applicants), they'll receive a leprechaun hat. The size is entirely up to the player, so it can range from a cute, small hat a la lolita style, or a big floppy hat, or a dapper silk top hat.
Have a look around, meet others, and enjoy the Irish foods offered for free at NPC shops to go with the soda. All items earned are to stay!
There's even a young silver-haired GM dolled up in green silks at the quest kiosk available for questions, although he doesn't look particularly friendly. His body language says to Stay Away, despite his location right in the upper left corner of the town center.
( ooc | Please remember to tag your characters properly, and have fun! )

Mmm, I'm from Japan. [ Which isn't too far away! ] Are you from China?

Yes, I am from the Kingdom of Shu.

...What about my family name, Arisato?

I...regardless of what you may believe, you are certainly a lady to me, Lady Arisato! I deeply apologise if it offends you.

Addressing me with a title like that makes me feel like nobility, which I'm not. I'm really just a normal high school student.
1/2
P-please don't misunderstand me! [ HE IS COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY UNINTERESTED IN YOUR BITS. ]
no subject
If it is... of such gravity to you I will do my utmost to comply.
no subject
And, well, if you're more comfortable with calling me Lady Minako, then let's go with it for now! [ She'll get you to drop it one day >T ]
no subject
I thank you for understanding, Lady Arisato. [ except now you gave him your surname and he will never use your given name. NEVER. ]
no subject
Really? I didn't know that. [ Wow, is China really so different--? Curious! ] Do you address everyone like this, Jiang-san?

...I confess I have never had to consider such a situation. [ and he is now. would it be more polite to call a cross dressing man lord or lady? ]
no subject
...What was her original thought again? ] Mmm, it's just -- I didn't think China still had a [ she frowns, trying to find a word for it ] feudal system in place.
