SUMMARY: Perhaps it's an April Fool's joke-- surely Saint Patrick's Day has already passed. And yet clovers rain down and the fountains run green regardless. But it's a nice welcome to The World regardless, so enjoy it while it lasts!


There's gold banners strung from rooftop to rooftop, catching the light of the eternally-setting sun and reflecting it every which way. The ground's already covered in a generous amount of fallen shamrocks, with no end in sight. They're in your hair, on your clothes, in your food-- everywhere!

The main fountain (as well as the smaller second fountain in the alchemy district) is running with fizzing green soda, glass mugs lined up along the edges invitingly. New characters will receive one of two items-- in the first half of the week, they'll be awarded a limited edition golden weapon to suit their class, adorned in emeralds. In the latter half (for later applicants), they'll receive a leprechaun hat. The size is entirely up to the player, so it can range from a cute, small hat a la lolita style, or a big floppy hat, or a dapper silk top hat.

Have a look around, meet others, and enjoy the Irish foods offered for free at NPC shops to go with the soda. All items earned are to stay!



There's even a young silver-haired GM dolled up in green silks at the quest kiosk available for questions, although he doesn't look particularly friendly. His body language says to Stay Away, despite his location right in the upper left corner of the town center.

[ There's a moment where he just. Looks at this woman, then down at what she's offering. It really can't be too bad, can it (and surely he's already eaten worse)? ]

Sure, I guess. [ Aaand he takes a half. ]

[ and she looks back with some no guile whatsoever, and eats her half in two bites. It's some kind of chewy caramel-flavoured snack, for all its weird colour. ]

[ Iceland's a bit sloppy eating his, because, well, he's a teenage boy. At least it's not the type of candy to crumble everywhere. ]

Yeah, it was okay. [ He punctuates this with a shrug. ]

[ hmmm. She watches him for a moment, then leans forward, offering her hand in the western style. Or so she assumes. She's working on highly outdated information, here. ] How rude of me. You can call me Hitei.

[volcanic]

[ This gesture is met with less hesitance, and he politely gives her a quick handshake. ]

[ yep no idea that there's a country off on the other side of the world called that, so she just nods. A foreign name meaning 'country of ice', seems legit.] It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Iceland.

[ Hey, saves him the explanation! Always a good thing. ]

[ an encouraging nod! Good boy, you remember that name. ] You must have just arrived too, hm?

Is it obvious? [ He seems kinda sheepish about asking this. ]

Lucky guess, maybe~? [ oh oh oh. She opens her pack to retrieve her relic device with sudden not entirely faked enthusiasm. ] Shall we trade addresses?

Hm. [ Looking at Hitei with the slightest bit of trepidation. But he caves and takes his relic out too. ]

Sure, I guess that's fine.

[ she's honestly eager to see how these work, so she holds hers out level with his and smiles in cheerful triumph when his name and status appears on her screen. ]

Harvest Cleric, Iceland. I see, I see.

Yeah. [ He looks at his own relic. ] And you're a Macabre Dancer? Huh.
