SUMMARY: Perhaps it's an April Fool's joke-- surely Saint Patrick's Day has already passed. And yet clovers rain down and the fountains run green regardless. But it's a nice welcome to The World regardless, so enjoy it while it lasts!


There's gold banners strung from rooftop to rooftop, catching the light of the eternally-setting sun and reflecting it every which way. The ground's already covered in a generous amount of fallen shamrocks, with no end in sight. They're in your hair, on your clothes, in your food-- everywhere!

The main fountain (as well as the smaller second fountain in the alchemy district) is running with fizzing green soda, glass mugs lined up along the edges invitingly. New characters will receive one of two items-- in the first half of the week, they'll be awarded a limited edition golden weapon to suit their class, adorned in emeralds. In the latter half (for later applicants), they'll receive a leprechaun hat. The size is entirely up to the player, so it can range from a cute, small hat a la lolita style, or a big floppy hat, or a dapper silk top hat.

Have a look around, meet others, and enjoy the Irish foods offered for free at NPC shops to go with the soda. All items earned are to stay!



There's even a young silver-haired GM dolled up in green silks at the quest kiosk available for questions, although he doesn't look particularly friendly. His body language says to Stay Away, despite his location right in the upper left corner of the town center.

You were the best fit for the job. You had closed yourself off, much like Shibuya had. And besides, your talent to use various psychs was a good plus.

[He flips one of the tassels on his hat.] And as for why I shot you twice? Well... it was part of our game, you know. You could have shot me just as easily.

You knew I couldn't shoot you - not someone I had considered a friend.

[ It's scathingly accusatory, and he's trying really hard not to grit his teeth too tightly. ]

You could have just sent me back.

Now, now. I couldn't count on that, could I? I'd just revealed that I'd been using you. What was I to expect?

[Be careful there, Neku. Wouldn't want you to lose your temper. He smiles.]

And I did send you back, didn't I? I sent all of you back.

That's not what I meant - ! [ He's raising a fist, trying to keep rational, but your indifference is really making this hard, Josh. ]

You lied to me.

[Joshua is not even fazed, bro.]

Oh? Did I? I'm afraid I can't recall.

[ Oh my god he's going to deck you so hard.

Argh. Breathing, trying to calm down. ]


Argh. Just. Nevermind.

[Impressive! You managed to curb your anger pretty well, there.]

You have your life back, and your friends. What should it matter?

That's not the point. [ Though it was very true, but... ]

You were my friend and you went behind my back the entire time. I thought I had finally met someone who got me. [ A glare. Because hey, he's not still really pissed off about this betrayal. ] But I was right from the get-go. You're just an ass.

Hm. With how you treated me that week, especially near the end, it was hard to tell you thought of me that way.

[Another little smile. It's hard to tell if that comment was a jab, or something else entirely. ... likely a jab.]

Trust your partner. [ A glare, again. ]

You want to know how I felt at the end of that week, jerk?

I felt like crap. I thought I had wrongly accused you and that you just got Erased for me.

[ Going to wipe that smile off your face, Josh, he swears to God...! ]

[Oh, the smile never quite leaves.]

How was I to know that? I wasn't there.

[He's quiet for a moment, though. Contemplative.]

"I can't forgive you, but I trust you." Wasn't that it?

So you were listening.

[ That just makes him slightly more on edge, his tone a bit sharper. He narrows his eyes, fists clenching again. ]

Why didn't you answer? Why didn't you meet up with us?

[leggierissimo]

[Excuse him as he busies himself with the end of one of those tassels.]

I wasn't exactly counting on you wanting to see me again.

[hedgephones]

So you ignored me.

[ He scowls. A sigh. ]

--And stop that.

[leggierissimo]

Did I say that?

[He's doing it again, just to spite you.]

I had a lot of work to get done.

[hedgephones]

Not enough time for even an acknowledgement? ... And I said stop that!

[ Oh jesus, that hat is the last straw. Excuse Neku as he reaches out to try and swat your hands away from the tassels, Josh. ]

I think you underestimate the amount of work there was, Neku-kun.

[... no, what are you doing. He's just going to step back one step there. Don't touch his hat~]

[ A glare, because his hand falls away before he can move that tassel. Okay, be difficult.

He's just going to stand here, arms folded. Not going to dignify Joshua's question with an answer, though. ]

[Well, here he goes playing with one again. Oh yes, he's being incredibly difficult~

But the entire time he's playing with that tassel, he's silent, looking up at the sky just over Neku's head.]

I still wasn't expecting you to want to see me again.

[hedgephones]

[ Neku's eye is maybe twitching at that stupid tassel, but the other's words are kind of reducing the burning rage. Ugh, Josh, don't make this awkward. ]

No shit, Sherlock.

[leggierissimo]

[He spots that look, and it makes him smirk. But he does stop playing with the tassel, at least.]

Besides, you were having so much fun with your friends. Who was I to ruin that, hm?

[hedgephones]

I invited you.

[ He huffs some, because don't turn this around on him, Mister. Another softer glare and he looks off to the right. ]

I haven't forgiven you yet, by the way.

[leggierissimo]

You may have, but they didn't.

[He shifts the sleight weight of the Grimoire, tossing that tassel behind his shoulder.]

I know. I heard.
