SUMMARY: Two best friends exploring and fighting monsters, that's all there is to it~

Kirino figured he could use some time with just himself and Shindou. The two hadn't really associated much since either of them had found each other in Mac Anu and Kirino really, really wanted to rectify this. He had sent a party invite to his friend on the way to the Chaos Gate and now, he was seated in the area at a place he'd be easy to spot.

In the meantime though, he idly played with his relic. He'd glance up every now and then to scan the area, but he'd look back down soon afterwards. After a while, that got boring and Kirino merely resorted to people watching, relic placed on his lap. He knew he probably wouldn't be waiting long. It was tempting for him to pick up his relic again, but he refrained from doing so--a watched pot never boils and all. His mind eventually turned towards other thoughts and he closed his eyes. He wasn't sure at exactly what point he'd gotten at least somewhat accustomed to being in The World, but things seemed vaguely routine by this now. He wondered if anyone else he knew would arrive. When Shindou arrived, this was how he'd probably find Kirino: deep in thought about not much of anything.

When he got the party invite, Shindou wasted no time in accepting it. There was no way he was couldn't not agree to doing something with Kirino after all.

As soon as he sent off his reply to the party invite, he set off towards the Chaos Gate. Despite that, it seemed he was still late though becuse when he got there, Kirino was sitting by the Chaos Gate staring off into space. He smiled slightly at the sight and jogged the last few steps to his friend.

"Hey, sorry I took awhile."

Upon hearing Shindou's voice, Kirino immediately snapped to attention and hopped up. He dusted himself off, smiling. "Don't worry about it. I wasn't waiting that long."

"Oh, that's good then." He smiled at his friend, wondering why they hadn't spent more time together before now. There really weren't that many of them from their world here so shouldn't that mean they should stick together more? "So, did you have a place in mind?"

Kirino's smile widened. Admittedly, Kirino spent a lot of his time exploring by himself or with one of his new friends, but nothing would beat spending time with Shindou. "Not really. Anywhere in specific you want to go?"

He shook his head. "Not really, either. Time to enter in some random keywords?" He laughed lightly at his suggestion.

"Sounds like a plan!" Kirino's smile widened into a grin.

"Let's go then." And with that Shindou leads the way to the Chaos Gate. Once there, he studies it for a bit before speaking again. "Hmm. Okay, so first word is Fly Away. You choose the next one."

Kirino hummed a bit in thought, then glanced over to Shindou. "Second word is Fortune's. We pick the last one together?"
