RATING: PG for pointy sticks and garbage death!
SUMMARY: Earth Day weekend isn't really a holiday, right...? But there's ten tons of recyclable garbage littered all over Mac Anu! Perhaps if you do your part and help clean the town there'll be another prize in it for you, huh? Hey, if nothing else, you have pointy sticks to stab garbage with-- take your stress out!

Mac Anu is a sore sight today, littered in recyclable goods, with empty plastic bottles floating in the harbor and the smallest scraps of cardboard and discarded cans in every nook and cranny. It may seem like a prank at first, until one notices the clearly-labeled recycling bins around the fountain with sharp metal-tipped sticks and mesh bags just begging to be picked up and put to use. The GMs are nowhere to be seen, but...

...There's an Out to Lunch sign on the Quest Kiosk. Maybe one will turn up sooner or later...? It's a pretty straightforward objective, if a tedious one. Mind the ends, and don't go stabbing each other's feet!

This is a bitty event, and the prize is a wee one-- as thanks for picking up the town and restoring it to a spic 'n span state, we'll ensure you get plenty, plenty of item drops to make up for it! Everyone will receive lvl.1 Simple Bracelets and Simple Necklaces modified with the item Dowsing Chain, which increases item drops by monsters 25%. They'll be titled "Search Bracelet" or "Search Necklace" and everyone can use them. )

[Picking up garbage? Right up N's alley! He often coerced the Plasma grunts to help him pick up garbage when they were out in Pokemon territory. On the streets wasn't too much of a stretch!

N prefers, however, to use his hands instead of the sharp stick. It's just more wholesome to bend over and crouch down, and the lack of stabbing is more calming.]

[ Minako is switching between sharp stick and picking things up, depending on what the items are.

But right now she's distracted she just found a weird can and is staring at it.

...in fact, her eyes seem to be shining! ] Chocolate tea...

[Chocolate Tea? N picks up a bottle next to Minako's feet, looking at it. Well, it wasn't chocolate tea, so he put it in the bag.]

Have you had that drink before?

Not yet! But it sounds delicious, doesn't it? [ Chocolate and tea~ ]

I wouldn't say that I'd know. I didn't eat a great deal of chocolate before. I would have to say that of the tea I've had, I prefer it without sugar or honey in it.

No sweet tooth?

Not really. I like it slightly bitter.

[Small talk! N is successfully engaging in small talk!!]

Oh, a dark chocolate kind of person? Maybe there's dark chocolate tea...

I suppose that would taste nice. I hadn't thought much of it.

[okay, so, she may have started out picking up garbage and all that nasty stuff littering the ground, but...

well...

there just might be a rather strong gust of wind sending a whole bunch of bottles rolling along the ground and papers dancing up in the air. SORRY, N! hope you weren't reaching for any of those things.]

[Wind! A gust attack? N looks around, trying to spy what Pokemon was nearby.

He looked fairly excited, at least, at the idea of finding a Pokemon.

[only thing he's going to be seeing is Amaterasu hopping about as she swings her bag about, in attempts to catch flying papers (which take to hiding quite happily up on some roofs now) and kicking bottles and cans into said bag as well.

her tail is wagging and, out of nowhere, as she peers up at the roofs, another wind gust comes about.










and a can smacks her right in the face.]

[N chuckles, coming over to pick up the offending can.]

(so much for being a "graceful" goddess like she was supposed to be, huh?)

looking up at him, she looks to the can he holds and offers it an annoyed snort. silly thing. hitting her like that. she had only been trying to catch it and place it in the bag as to make sure that the town would be clean and proper looking again!]

[-- and there went her mind, a mile a minute; totally ignoring N for the moment before it registers that oh he asked her a question.

what was it? hold her bag for her?]

[N chuckled, taking her bag and holding it open for her.]

This will be easier, I think.

[no doubt about it, that this will be easier! had she hands, then none of that probably would have even happened. though, if she had to be honest, she was just curious what would happen were she to use her brush techniques like that - after all, wind + littered objects should = easy times, right?

with a bark, she's off, gathering what she can in her mouth - which happens to be two bottles and maybe a few wads of paper - before trotting over and spitting placing the spit covered objects into the bag.]

[The drool doesn't seem to bother him! He sneaks in a few ear scritches every time she drops something in the bag.]

[Ack! N falls over, scrambling to collect the bottles escaping from his bag.]

[ Good reflexes! Oz for his part is still rolling for a bit--

[People here are so ditzy and clumsy that N just doesn't know what to do with you all!]

Ahh, I had thought that there was something in the sky but it was only this seriously fat guy! [ pocket them?? but Oz might actually object to that rather passionately ] You aren't hurt, are you, Mister?

No, I'm not hurt. My cans and bottles are rolling off, though.

[ A moment to consider what Sprout is saying here and then Oz, with the true agility of a silly bunny, dives after some of the cans and--

throws them back at you. N, you better be a really good catcher! ]
