At least she wasn't teasing him. Or wait, maybe he'd prefer the teasing as opposed to those damn winks and Rose just being "friendly" in general. Yes, even in his own mind, he added quotes to it. He should have been more prepared for a strife with her. A mental strife. A fucking. Derse-off.

He shifted around awkwardly and even rubbed the back of his neck, trying his best to keep his composure. She was obviously having fun with this and that proved to be a nuisance. As she spoke of whispers and butts and blogs, he'd narrow his eyes in the shelter of his visor before turning around and opening the door, walking inside so he had an excuse to get away from her for two goddamn seconds.

"My ass isn't in your face. If I wanted it to be, it would, but right now I'm just rolling with the punches this rip-off Korean MMO gave me. Reap the benefits while you can."

He felt that wasn't a justified ending for a Strider, so he was quick to open his mouth once again.
